The next Show is rapidly approaching - it's on Saturday 14th June 2014 at the Show Ground, Stokesley, North Yorkshire, which is located just off the A172.

Over 200 Cars, Vans, Bikes, Tractors and Speciality Vehicles were assembled in the Showfield for the second Rotary Club of Stokesley ‘Classics on Show’on Saturday 15 June 2013.

Although the weather last year wasn't perfect, we only had a few light showers and it again stayed warm all day, enabling the ice cream vendors to achieve record sales figures. Over 180 exhibitors were registered and around 50 more just came along on the day and had a great time.

The Concours d'Elegance of vehicles by Class in the main Show Ring was a new feature for the 2013 Show, as was the Autojumble area. Both will be repeated in 2014.

The show is a non-profit event that raises much-needed funds for local and Rotary Club charities

The booking form to exhibit vehicle/s in 2014 (Sat 14 June) is now available on the official website and information will be posted on the website with more details when appropriate.

In the 2012 and 2013 Shows we saw sports and performance cars including Jaguar E Types, MGBs and MGCs, AC , Triumph Stags, Jaguar XK 120 and 140s; luxury cars from Delage and Aston Martin; several Austin Sevens and Morris Eights from the 1930s.  Bikes included a Triumph Bonneville, BSAs and Sunbeams.  And in the Commercial category - a 1936 Austin Seven van, a Ford Thames-based fire engine, VW Caravanettes and a 6-wheeled Mini-based pick and mix sweetshop.  Of course we'd love to see an even broader spread of vehicles at the Show next year if there any shy owners out there who would like to join us. We've already been promised some classic Ferguson tractors - see HOT NEWS and our Facebook page www.facebook.com/pages/Classicsonshow
