Off Road Bikes In A Residential Area Are A Problem For Everyone. Your Help Is Needed !!
Hardwick and Salters Lane Councillors , Norma Stephenson and Nigel Cooke are working alongside local residents , Tristar , The Anti Social Behaviour Team and the Local Neighbourhood Policing Team in an effort to track down the off road bikers who often ride at speed along footpaths and across open spaces, disrupting and placing at risk the lives of local residents whilst causing damage to verges and green spaces .
In recent months a lot of time and effort has been put in by the Police , Tristar and the Anti-Social Behaviour Team , trying to identify the culprits and take action against them . Norma and Nigel are now requesting the help of residents . If you see one of these road bikes please make a note of the date , time , registration number and if possible the colour , make and model of the bike . A description of the rider would also be useful .
